Christine has made sure that your course Tutors are leading UK TV, Film & Theatre Makeup Artists and Designers, who are all actively working in the industry. Our Academy is based in Camden, London and we only run one 4 month course for professional Film & TV Makeup Artists at any one time, with the maximum class size of 14 students, with each student receiving much needed care and attention from the course Tutor and the school. After completion of their course, every CB*MA graduate is offered guaranteed onset experience on one of Christine’s latest projects.

I hope this email finds you well? I just wanted to drop you an email to let you know what I’ve been up to lately as it’s been a little while since we have spoken. I’ve recently just finished as the crowd hair and makeup supervisor for “Bridgerton”, a new period drama for Netflix which I’ve been on since May last year. I absolutely loved it and the challenges it brought. I’m definitely looking to do more crowd supervising or supervising on large scale productions like this.

Working on Cruella with Nadia Stacey and the rest of the team was a dream job for me. It drew upon my background in fashion whilst also putting in to practice many of the skills I learned and honed during my time at CBMA.

Hi, my name is Lisa and I graduated from Christine Blundell Makeup Academy in December 2018.
I live in a little village in the middle of nowhere in Nottinghamshire, I have two girls, horses, dogs and cats! Certainly a far cry from the London lifestyle. I began my career many years ago working mainly in customer relations and also studying and practising holistic therapies.
I have never really felt satisfied in my career choices but could not put my finger on exactly what I wanted to do, I’ve always had a love for make up which has intensified as I’ve got older and had to adapt to my skin changes. Modules: 4 Month Hair and Makeup course
The course will give you all the professional media makeup, theatrical, hairdressing & special effects skills you need to become a Makeup trainee, enabling you to pursue a career in TV, Film & Theatre industries. No previous makeup and hairdressing experience is necessary, although some hairdressing skills can often give you an advantage at the beginning. Please see below a list of Makeup, Hair & SFX modules you will be taught during the 16 weeks of the course, from Basic and Fashion make up, through Theatre and Wigs, Casualty and Prosthetics and many, many more.
How do I apply

In order to have a successful application, you must be at least 18 years old, with good command of English and a recognised student / UK visa, in case you come from a country that requires you to have one.
Included in the price is a professional kit as well as access to our stock of leading brand products such as MAC, Chanel and Illamasqua. All materials at the school are at your disposal, remember: this will be your home for the duration of the course.
Following a successful interview, a non-refundable deposit of £1,500 is required to secure your place. The remaining balance of £10,780 (excl. VAT) of the course fee must be settled at least 5 weeks before the course commencement date.
The full cost of the course is £12280 this includes the deposit of £1500 that you pay to secure your place.
